Spanish Copy of Merwin and Hulbert .44 Frontier Revolver with Identified and Marked Texas Holster

$599.00

The revolver is .44-40 caliber and shows a solid top strap along with a Spanish maker information in Eibar Spain. The holster is professionally made and stamped A. Stelzig, Houston and has a basket weave design. The holster is marked in pen with owners name “T.L. Binford, Rice Hotel, Houston Texas” The revolver remains in fair condition with brown patina finish and the loading gate is missing. The action is not working properly. The grips are crudely checkered wood and are probably original to the revolver. The Rice Hotel was a landmark in Houston from the turn of the century to the 1970's. Priced very fairly at $599 including the holster.
