This unique American rarity is ornately carved with tree on left side of stock and decorated raised carving throughout. A screw type leather unwinds on the left side to expose the breach and the touch hole is within the screw lever. The lock is marked T. Ketland & Co. and the rifle is unsigned as to the maker. Fine and untouched condition with sharp carving. This exact rifle was sold by us at auction approximately 20 years ago for a sum of nearly $25,000 to a prominent collector who has recently passed away.
