Impeccable .44 caliber percussion serial number 1377 retaining 98% - 99% plus original bright blue and case hardened finish. No evidence of use or firing. Excellent grips with a strong cartouche showing a small sliver of wood missing at right rear edge of grip which is the only defect. A strong 9.8 on a scale of 1 - 10 grading scale and in 56 years of fine selling antique arms and Rogers & Spencer’s I have only had one better which was about new and sold to Ron Romanella for 3x the normal fine gun price. Mr. Romanella was affectionately known as Mr. Mint. Priced reasonably at $3,600. No further discount available.
