This rare Pauly pistol shows gold inlaid barrel with makers name hand engraved on both sides of frame. This particular Pauly has a unique spring loaded latch to secure the barrel and keep it from opening during firing or being carried. We believe this pistol was submitted for military testing in order to gain a contract and is the only specimen of this type we know to be extant. The condition is near fine.
