Original shoulder stock for Colt 3rd Model Dragoon in good to very good plus condition showing two inspector’s cartouches, numbered 17463 and 17464, on the yoke and butt plate. The attachment jaw is numbered 17463 and 17464 also. The metal shows a dark patina with minor beginning erosion and light pinprick pitting. The stock is very good plus, with only minor dings, marks and scratches. W.A.T. An oval cartouche at the left wrist is mostly visible (80% plus). A strong 8 on 1 - 10 scale from Derek Povah and Glenn Klein Collections.
