Lemarre was a royal gun maker at the period of Louis the 14th and by the early 1660's he moved to Vienna, Austria where he continued manufacturing fine arms for royalty. This untouched original pistol shows the finest engraving, fancy silver engraved mountings, gold inlays, and chisled steel accents on the hammer and lock. Full size and excellent original condition. A museum quality flintlock pistol.
