Authentic and impressive Sharps 50 caliber model 1870 trial rifle fully Indian tact and wrapped. Illustrated page 51 Sharps Firearms by Roy Marcot and Ron Paxton. Formerly John Robinson collection who obtained it in the early 1990’s from Little John’s Antique Arms in Orange County California. The rifle was found in Colorado originally in a cave near Cripple Creek according to the owner who sold it to J. R. Gangel. The rifle shows a 30 inch barrel and was obviously sent to frontier post for tests. The condition is as found and uncleaned and all decoration is authentic to the period of use. $6,500
