Gold Inlaid Small Sword
Gold inlaid small sword probably French circa 1700 - 1750. 40 1/2 overall with 34 inch triangular shaped blade with raised median ridge on each side for piercing. Silver and steel wire marked grip. The gold inlay is worn and about 70% intact. Dark overall patina and uncleaned. Well balanced and feels “right” in the hand. Some moderate pitting on the blade.
