Germanic Military Issue Sword From 1830s - 50s
Germanic military issue sword from 1830s - 50s marked E+H Neuhaus-Solingen and 55 R.2.3.1 engraved on guard. 36 ½ inches overall with 31 inch blade “in the black” as found in the attic condition and at least good overall. A screw and washer added to tighten blade (at pommel) during period of use and age matches. (Probably armorer field repair or arsenal)
