This type carbine was made for elite officers and special units during reign of Napoleon. 40 inches overall with 25 inch heavy octagon barrel showing deep seven groove rifling approximately 60 caliber. Full stock showing commercial quality figuring in light colored wood stock. Brass mounts and trumpet ended original ramrod with sling swivels. Original flintlock parts and very good condition overall showing lightly cleaned to arsenal bright metal.
