Cased Colt 3rd Model Dragoon 44 Caliber Percussion Revolver #15573. Formerly in the Dr. Joseph Murphy collection. This fine Colt detains over 50% of its original finishes with minor toning and aging. The grips are very good plus to near fine, and about 30 - 50 silver remains on the straps. The original scene is at least 90% visible with crisp orns by signature, and Model U.S.M.R. and Colt’s patent are also well defined. All matching with crisp edges and shows very little aging or use. The case is original to the period and also near fine with just minor aging. The flask retains 90% plus original laquer, very good plus mold, cap box included with high condition nipple wrench. A very strong-cased Dragoon for a reasonable price.
