European Small Sword Circa About 1704 - 1760

$1,595.00

European small sword circa about 1704 - 1760 with chiseled pierced and gold gilted hilt. Fancy silver grip with silver braided wire grip. 35 ¼ inches overall with 28 inch blade in 3 sided triangular shape. The blade shortened 2 inches to 5 inches during period of use in our opinion. Approximately 40 - 60 gilt remains on uncleaned hilt, guard, and pommel of fine quality. The blade shows old light polish or cleaning. The wire wrap on grip is fully intact with slight loosening. “A lovely hilt for a tilt.”
