Approximately 11 to 12 millimeter smooth bore. The action is released by lever which is lifter with fingernail at rear of sliding bolt and then reach loaded. Serial numbered #42 and what appears to be small French proofs. Out of a French collection where inventoried as 1860 to 1875. Folding trigger. Very good condition overall. $3500
