Engraved with Ivory Grips Merwin and Hulbert Frontier Revolver
This revolver shows early flutes to the cylinder and is in .44 S+W caliber. The barrel has been shortened to approximately 5 ½ inches and the pistol is nicely western scroll engraved. The condition is fair to good showing honest frontier use and carry wear. Brown patina finish with lightly visible markings and the grips one large chip and loss at the rear of right grip and otherwise normal age cracking and minor distress. The grips show a natural patina and are of the same period as the revolver. The action works but not perfectly and isnt holding on the notches. Priced extremely fairly at $1,295.
