Early Merwin and Hulbert Frontier Revolver with Scarce Mottled Red Grips
.44 S+W caliber with scooped flutes circa early 1870's. The barrel has been reduced to approximately 5 ½ inches and the revolver retains traces of original nickel finish. The desirable grips show losses at back of left and toe of right along with some wear and smoothing to the checkered pattern. The action needs adjustment but works though not perfectly. Metal surfaces are good with legible markings. Priced very reasonably at $759
