This Colt revolver was made as a cartridge arm with newly produced 3 ½ inch barrel utilizing left over percussion parts and showing 1871 - 1872 patent dates. Serial number 2068 indicates serial numbering in its own range and production as a cartridge arm. Approximately 90 - 95% original nickel remains with matching serial numbers and most of the original cylinder scene. The grips are near fine with just slight or very minor imperfections.
