British Military Style Flintlock Pistol

British military style flintlock pistol marked W. Parker on the lock measuring 15 inches overall with 9 inch steel barrel of approximately 69 caliber smooth bore with British proofs and plain steel mounts. Circa early 1800 - 1820s. Parker supplied the board of ordinance, East India company, and London Metropolitan police. The pistol is full stocked and has a “Lazy S” side plate similar to military arms of late 18th to Napoleonic wars era. The condition is very good plus to near fine with smooth metal, sharp markings and a light brown patina on what was arsenal bright finish. The stocks show only minor aging, small scratches and a plus + sign carved into butt at time of use (loaded?). Correct to the period rod with screw tip or end missing. Original flintlock with correct small parts. Action good. An exceptional flintlock pistol by a good maker.
