(Sold) British Flintlock Blunderbuss

$3,850.00

British flintlock blunderbuss with brass barrel and spring bayonet marked Richards on lock who was a well-known London maker about 1800-1820s. 27 ½ inches overall with nicely made with shaped bell mouthed brass cannon barrel of 12 inches in length with 1 inch bore with thick walls. Dark patina on the lock with unpolished as found brass barrel and mounts (I hate it when the English polish guns like car show Chrome!). The ramrod tip broken but original and the worm is retained. Very good condition overall with all correct flintlock parts and working spring on bayonet (Be careful, you will put your eye out!).
