Smith + Wesson #2 army revolver in 32 long rimfire revolver #32483 made during civil war and a favorite of o cers as a secondary martial or private purchase sidearm. 6-in barrel blued finish, with rosewood grips, 60-80 original slightly dulling original blue remains with some minor erosion and service pitting that is “as found” and uncleaned. The grips are good with where at edges from being carried with good patent dates on cylinder and sharp address on barrel. Tight with a good and bright bore. Most of dulled case hardening on the hammer. A far better than average example of a civil war era #2. A strong 8 on 1 - 10 grading scale. $1,400
