Frontier Conversion to Approximately .32 Caliber Center Fire 1861 Navy Colt With Holster
This “blacksmith” or frontier conversion has an added top strap over the Navy frame. The rig along with a Indian tanned belt which has fragmented was found in Red Lodge Montana by noted collector Berry Mason in the 1980's where it was alleged to have had Native American use. The barrel has been shortened to approximately 4 ½ inches and the overall conversion and workmanship is somewhat crude. The action is not working properly. Some original nickel remains on the cylinder which shows a lot of scene. Priced very reasonably at $795 with holster.
