1860 Model Cavalry Officer’s Saber
1860 model cavalry officer’s saber in very good plus to near fine condition. Clauberg Solingen marked blade with etched U.S. in panel and war eagle on reverse. The blade near fine with minor staining and spotting a 9+ for condition on 1 - 10 scale. Hilt is decorated with leaf and vines and shows some gilt with in mellow patina. The shark skin grip is very good plus with copper wire wrap intact and tight. The scabbard is very good with minor staining.
