This Navy serial number 89396 shows large USN marking on the butt along with 1871 - 72 patent markings on left side of frame. Approximately 40% - 60% dull military blue finish remains which was applied at time of conversion by the armory and is turning brown. The markings are good and edges are fairly crisp. The grips show storage marks and minor imperfections but are at least good. The action works well and barrel address is sharp. Priced reasonably at $4850.
