Southern European military style wheelock musket with makers mark at the breach probably Austrian and about 1620. The metal surfaces are very good plus and the lock is complete and functioning. The stock is a restoration as is often the case as many were damaged or wormy causing them to be replaced in the 19th and 20th century. The musket shows a safety in the trigger guard behind the trigger. A very attractive wheelock with a near perfect restoration of the stock. Priced very fairly at $4,200.
